Homework ( May 12th)
1) You can begin today by doing the on-line quiz. Take your time and reflect. It can be tricky at times. It is a blog where a teacher has picked up o the most common mistakes in writing by intermediate students. Scroll down in the blog and do the quiz. Let me know how you do. This is what is looks like:

Now click on the link to do the quiz.
https://www.cristinacabal.com/?p=7819
2) Download the worksheet on choosing between the present perfect and the past simple. Try to always justify your choice of verb tense.
3) Download the first work sheet and choose between make and do. The correction is on the second page of the document. The next download is a gap fill and you need to choose between have-make-get-do.
4) The last download is opposites. You need to be careful of the form you choose.
5) Your last activity is opening the link below and reading through the information on the BEC exam. For those doing the First please go on-line to the Cambridge site and check out the information. I would like those doing the BEC to do the COMPUTER based listening. You need to click on the link and scroll down the open 'Exam and test practice.' Do the listening and let me know your score out of 30 when you self-correct. This is where you can find it.
